The Innovation Hub is involved in different activities aiming at promoting and developing the musical instrument industry in collaboration with all actors of Itemm.

Exhibition, trade fairs

Expert of the musical instrument industry, the institute and its Innovation Hub are regularly asked to intervene (or involve industry craftsmen) in different technical, scientific and economic communications, such as study days (Senate, Sema, Finance ministry) or thematic works (Ministry of culture, Higher national conservatory of music and dance in Paris, Cité de la musique, etc.).

In the same way, Itemm and the French national training centres (Eschau and Mirecourt) intervene at the request of their referring ministries to present the different professions in the context of national events (National crafts day, Fête de la musique, etc.) or fairs.

Business recognition

As a member of a large network working for the preservation and recognition of craft enterprises, the Institute participates in a number of commissions for the allocation of labels or awards designed to reward the work of a craftsmen or the know-how of one company.


Promotion of musical practice

The institute is involved in several projects promoting musical practice such as Orchestre à l’école, Orchestra in school, or Music Fund. On a local level, Itemm participates in the animation of cultural life by hosting rehearsals and auditions at the school.
